2026 Programs

Ashland Garden Club's 2026 schedule (tentative)
Wednesday, January 21 (1:00 pm EST) Lunch Break Zoom meeting to check in with our scholarship winner, Leah Ines. Leah will have just returned from studying in Nepal, and she will share her initial college experiences with the group.
Wednesday, January 21  (10:00 am)  Floral design project at Plymouth Senior Center
Friday, February 27 (12:00 pm to 2:00 pm) Winter lunch at Walters Basin in Holderness. This will be a great opportunity to catch up in person during the long New Hampshire winter.
Saturday, March 14 (Times TBD) Carpooling to “Bloom” at the Currier Museum in Manchester where our members, Linda Pare and Tracey Burhoe will have pieces on display.
Monday, April 13 (5:30 pm) at Holderness Free Library – Seed exchange/Potluck/Business Meeting
Saturday, May 16 (9:00 am to 12:00 noon) Memorial Park – Plant and Pie Sale
Monday, May 18 Rain Date, Tuesday, May 19 (5:00 pm) Memorial Park – Civic Beautification
Monday, June 15 (5:30 pm) Holderness Free Library - Dried pressed flower workshop
June, July and August will be POP UP gardens. Tim Crowley, of 135 Thompson Street Farms LLC, will host a "Mum Days" pop up in June where he will describe the Chrysanthemum growing process on his farm.
Summer– End of September NEW!! – "Mums Days" on-line sale in conjunction with 135 Thompson Street Farm LLC. Details to follow.
Monday, September 21 (5:30) Brooke House, Holderness - Jane Raymond (Shirley Splaine’s niece and guest speaker from the UNH Extension Master Gardeners) will speak to us about Growing a Pollinator Garden. This event will be open to the public. Ashland Garden Club Mum plants will be for sale!
Monday, October 19 (5:30) Holderness Free Library - Fall floral workshop with Linda Pare
Sunday, November 15 (1:00pm) Beech Hill Farm, New Hampton- Our Favorite Things- Sips, Nibbles Bows and Swags – A pre-holiday social to prepare for the Greens Sale with Sue Cram and Linda Pare. Sue Cram will lead a hands-on demonstration on bow making and Linda will demonstrate how to create a holiday swag.
Tuesday, December 1 (Time TBD) Ashland Elementary School wreath making
Thursday and Friday, December 3,4 (Times TBD) Squam Lakes Association - Greens Sale Workshops
Saturday, December 5 (9:00 am- 12 noon) Squam Lakes Association - Second Annual Holiday Greens Sale
December (Date and location TBD) Holiday Social – Tracey Burhoe and Linda Pare will host
